Tamaro has been at Tahoe Forest working in maternal health for 18 years. She took on the lactation consultant position for the last 6 years, and provides comprehensive support to families at every stage of their infant feeding journey. She provides inpatient support during the postpartum period, personalized out-patient care, and prenatal education to prepare families for breastfeeding success. Additionally, she facilitates weekly support groups (Mama's Meet Up), fostering a sense of community and peer support among parents. She loves her work because it allows her to empower and support families during this important time, witnessing the joy and satisfaction that comes from helping families on there personalized infant feeding journey. You may see Tamaro around the Center for Health with her lactation support patients.
