October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among American women, and our region is no different. Between 2009 – 2016, Breast Cancer was the leading cancer site for patients diagnosed and/or treated at the Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer Center.
