As you all are aware, 2021 continues to be an incredibly challenging year for our Hospital and community. We remain grateful every day for the community support, and please know that we remain here for you and your families. Free COVID-19 testing is now available in Truckee through Placer County Public Health. It is not necessary to have symptoms; however, pre-registration is required and can be done at lhi.care/covidtesting or by calling 888-634-1123. The Tahoe Forest Gateway Vaccine Clinic is now offering vaccines Tuesday through Fridays; please visit myturn.ca.gov to schedule. Walk-in appointments are also welcome.
The Foundation Board and team is dedicated to continue to work towards our mission of providing and expanding healthcare services to our local community. Our goal is to raise philanthropic funds to support lifesaving programs, equipment, and state of the art technology that would be difficult for our Hospital to procure without our help. We are thrilled to announce that we will be supporting the 3T MRI project at Tahoe Forest. Please rest assured that 100% of every gift the Foundation receives goes directly to support lifesaving programs, services, and state of the art technology. Aside from our family and friends, there is no greater gift than timely access to great healthcare. We are reminded of this every day.
