Please help us give a warm welcome to Sandra Cath, our newest Tahoe Forest Health System Foundation Board Member. Sandra received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University, her Master of Social Work from Smith College, an MBA from Northwestern University, and holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University/Purdue University’s Fund Raising School.
Sandra comes to us with an extensive background in finance, retail real estate, as a Clinical Therapist for children and adolescents, and in philanthropy. Having worked for over 25 years in overseeing strategic and financial management of multifamily and retail real estate portfolios, she has directed the implementation of strategic plans for portfolios reaching $1.2 billion.
Sandra also served for four years as a Board Director on the Advancement Committee at the Simon Youth Foundation, a non-profit focused on alternative education for motivated students who would not have otherwise earned their high school diplomas. She was involved in passing Physician Ordered Scope of Treatment (or POST) in Indiana, and is involved in similar legislation in Nevada.
Thank you, Sandra, for joining us as a TFHS Foundation Board Member, and for making a real difference in our community!
