The Tahoe Forest Health System Foundation has collaborated with the Safeway Foundation for over ten years in support of Breast Health Education and Early Breast Cancer Detection. This month, we received a $14,000 grant through the Safeway Foundation’s Breast Cancer Research and Treatment Campaign. Thanks to generous donations from Safeway customers and associates, our Tahoe Forest Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Department will have the ability to provide breast health screenings to patients who may not otherwise have access to this life-saving service.
