Description

Come learn from your local physical therapist April Rosas-Willett, DPT (Tahoe City) and Sports Med Doc Dr. Naomi Albertson about common injuries in summer sports, specifically related to running, biking, hiking. In this interactive discussion, we will  review ways to remain injury free and recover during the summer season, and exercises to incorporate preventively.

Dr. Naomi Albertson joined Tahoe Forest Heath System in January 2024. She attended medical school at the Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her residency in family practice and her sports medicine fellowship with the San Jose Medical Center/Stanford University. Dr. Albertson is certified in Family Medicine by the American Academy of Family Physicians.

April Rosas-Willett received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of California, San Francisco. April enjoys working with those with orthopedic injuries, as well as prenatal and postpartum pelvic floor care. She currently teaches the ACL Knee strengthening class in Tahoe City each week, and enjoys working with folks returning to sport.
