The unfolding of the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis has significantly affected the event industry. Our Foundation Board decided to cancel Best of Tahoe Chefs this year. We wholeheartedly believe that this was our most prudent choice.
Protecting the health, safety and well-being of our chefs, community members and volunteers is paramount and serves as the reason for our decision to cancel Best of Tahoe Chefs. While we are devastated, we know it was the correct decision.
We are incredibly grateful for the support we received this year from our sponsors and participants, and we look forward to seeing you all next year. Thank you to all those who had purchased tickets to Best of Tahoe Chefs. We know that many of you donated your ticket value to support our cause and we couldn’t be more grateful.
All proceeds from Best of Tahoe Chefs support the Oncology Support Programs at the Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer Center. Event cancellation does not cancel the vital need for these programs and services offered to our patients, families and caregivers.
