Tahoe Forest Health System Foundation is proud to announce the establishment of the Thomas Hobday Medical Lectureship.
Tom has played an instrumental role in obtaining our valued affiliations with UC Davis, including our Cancer Center, the UC Davis Rural Prime Program, and our designation as a UC Davis Rural Center of Excellence, and the Tahoe Forest Institute for Rural Health Research. He has provided leadership through his role as a member of the Tahoe Forest Health System Foundation, the TFHD Leadership Council, the Cancer Advisory Council, the CAC Stewardship Committee, and as the founding President of Tahoe Institute for Rural Health Research.
Dr. Thomas Semrad, MD, MAS, FAPC, who is a nationally recognized researcher in cancer treatment and a principal investigator on multiple leading edge clinical trials, presented the first Lectureship to over 100 stakeholders on September 6 on the latest news in cancer treatment.
