Hospital Access, Visitor Policy & Masking
Effective April 3, 2023, California Department of Public Health (CDPH) updated its requirements for use of masks in healthcare settings. In alignment with CDPH, Tahoe Forest Health System no longer requires masking in our facilities.
TFHS will continue providing masks at entry points into facilities for anyone wishes to wear them. Masks can be worn by anyone at any time based on personal comfort level, preference, or community transmission level.
If a patient or visitor has respiratory symptoms, they will be instructed to wear a mask while in our facilities.
