Dr. Angela Mendoza joined Tahoe Forest Health System in October 2024. Dr. Mendoza is committed to providing personalized, high-quality care to the Truckee and North Lake Tahoe communities, with a focus on preventive care, women’s health, and managing chronic conditions.

Dr. Mendoza received her medical degree from the UC San Francisco School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency with Lifelong Medical Care’s Family Medicine Residency, a residency program of the UCSF Family Medicine Educational Alliance. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. In addition to her extensive clinical skills, Dr. Mendoza has conducted research in preventive health strategies and improving patient care protocols. She is also fluent in Spanish.
