Stephanie Malaspina, PT, DPT
Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation
Profile
Stephanie graduated from the University of Southern California with a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy in 2009 and joined Tahoe Forest Health System in 2024. Between 2009 and 2024, she provided care to patients in four other hospital organizations, emphasizing recovery of function to those experiencing traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and need for organ transplantation. In addition to her clinical work, she has provided education to student physical therapists, both in the clinic as well as in the classroom within five DPT degree programs since 2010. She is a member of the California Physical Therapy Association as well as the American Physical Therapy Association and serves both organizations as an educator for continuing education courses in addition to participation in various task forces and work groups.
Stephanie was raised in Texas and realized a need to “explore more” as an undergraduate student at Texas State University. This love ultimately brought her to Lake Tahoe in 2022.
When she’s not working, she can be found racing sailboats, stand up paddling, and spending time with her family.
