Profile
Brian has been working at IVCH Physical Therapy since 2006 when he was a Therapy Aide and Licensed Massage Therapist, utilizing a BS degree in Kinesiology and Human Movement Science from Bowling Green State University to get into the Physical Therapy profession. Graduating in 2012 from San Juan College with a Physical Therapy Assistant degree, he has now worked with patients across the lifespan and ability level. Specializing in orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries, Brian has been an integral part of our clinic here in Incline Village for many years.
Brian holds certificates in Advanced Myofascial Release techniques, has extensive manual therapy experience in Soft Tissue Manipulation, Muscle Energy Techniques for the pelvis and lumbar spine. More recently, he has become a Certified Bike Fitter for road cycling, mountain biking and cyclocross racing while developing a bike fitting program for the Tahoe Forest Health System PT clinics. He also thoroughly enjoys guiding his patients through the recovery of a total joint replacement and the challenges that come with it.
Brian’s roots run deep here in Incline Village, where his wife is a teacher at the local middle school. Both of his kids are active in the local public schools, Diamond Peak Ski Team, NICA mountain bike racing program, and Incline Gymnastics. Brian is an avid skier and cyclist and has volunteered with the Diamond Peak Ski Patrol since 2012.
