Karen has been practicing Physical Therapy for over 30 years. She attended University of California at Santa Barbara earning a degree in Biology, and then attended California State University at Long Beach where she received her Physical Therapy degree. She currently practices primarily wound care therapy and is Wound Care Certified. She is also a Certified Lymphedema Specialist providing lymphedema therapy and cancer rehab. She has worked extensively in wound care therapy, cancer rehab/lymphatic therapy, along with acute care, pediatric, orthopedics, neuro and trauma rehabilitation. She has worked at Tahoe Forest Health System since 2015.

Karen’s objective is to assist patients with their return to function to maximize their physical potential and knowledge to achieve their own goals.

Karen has lived in Truckee since 1995 with her husband where she has raised a son and daughter. Outside of work she enjoys skiing, hiking, yoga, camping her VW van and exploring National Parks while also playing with her two Frenchies, Irie and Duppy.
