Jane moved to the Tahoe Area 24 years ago from Boston, Massachusetts, to embark on a journey of skiing, backpacking and traveling the world. She graduated with an economics degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1987 and then reentered the college realm in 1998 to pursue a career in nursing. In 2003 Jane graduated from The University of Nevada Orvis School of Nursing (BSN) and began her nursing career at Renown Medical Center as a Pediatric Nurse. There she became affiliated with Oakland Children’s Hospital and worked in the infusion room, eventually becoming a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse.

After the birth of her daughter, Jane took a year off, and then switched gears by taking a job with the Tahoe Forest Hospital as a nurse on the Medical Surgical Unit. During that time she also continued to work part-time in Pediatric Oncology until 2012 when she was joined The Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer Center. This path led Jane to her current position as a full-time Infusion Nurse. In her spare time she loves enjoying all the Sierra has to offer with her family.
