The mission of the Foundation is to assist Incline Village Community Hospital in delivering the highest quality healthcare services by procuring financial resources for the hospital. In the next year, the Foundation is dedicated to raising $1.5 million to support the funding of essential equipment, capital improvements, and physicians service needs at IVCH. It has been determined that the next “Area of Greatest Need” campaign will be the upgrade of the sterile processing equipment and surgery suite at IVCH. IVCH offers outpatient orthopedic surgical services, supported by exceptional staff and surgeons, on a weekly basis. The upgrade will give IVCH the ability to provide a wider array of surgical procedures, which should result in greater relief to local patients by allowing them to access surgical services much closer to home.
In order to increase the type of procedures that can be offered and provide safe, quality surgical care for every patient, every time, the following investments will be made:
- New automated cleaning equipment will be purchased for all surgical tool sterile processing
- A procedure room within the existing IVCH surgery suite will be created for Gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy procedures
- GI endoscopy procedure scopes and storage equipment will be purchased
