Anna Roth CEO

Greetings from Tahoe Forest Health System!

I am incredibly grateful for the warm welcome I’ve received since joining Tahoe Forest Health System. It has been a privilege to meet so many dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in our community.

April is Stress Awareness Month, an important time to recognize the impact that mental health has on our well-being. Below you will learn more about the services we offer, including psychiatry, group and individual therapy, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). Additionally, our Wellness Center offers stress-busting programs such as acupuncture, yoga, massage, and various support groups. At TFHS, we are committed to fostering a culture where mental health is prioritized, stigma is eliminated, and resources are readily available to support both our patients and staff.

With Earth Day on April 22, I would like to highlight TFHS’s commitment to sustainability. Through initiatives like the Climate Transformation Alliance and the “Don’t Drop the Top” recycling program, we continue to take meaningful steps to protect our environment and preserve the beauty of our region for future generations.

This month, we also celebrate Volunteer Appreciation Month, recognizing the incredible individuals who give their time and talents to support our mission. Volunteers play a vital role in enhancing the care and services we provide, and we are deeply grateful for their generosity and dedication.

As I continue to settle in, I look forward to connecting with more members of this wonderful community. Together, we will build on the strong foundation that makes Tahoe Forest Health System such an exceptional place.

Warm regards,

Anna M. Roth, RN, MS, MPH
President & CEO

Strengthening Rural Healthcare

On March 24, 2025, IVCH had the privilege of hosting an onsite visit with the Office of Statewide Initiatives, the UNR School of Medicine, and the Orvis School of Nursing. Attending from IVCH were Louis Ward, IVCH Administrator; Jan Iida, CNO; Sara Wojcik, Manager of Patient Care; and Ellen Bjorkman, Director of Operations.

This collaborative discussion focused on the future of the healthcare workforce in rural settings and explored opportunities for partnership with the School of Medicine and Orvis School of Nursing. The exchange of insights and expertise will play a vital role in shaping healthcare initiatives that support our community.

Kind Words

“Dr. Eldridge and her MA were amazing – very patient, kind, and great with my children. Balanced having two appointments for toddlers at once wonderfully, which is not easy with 2.5 and 4 year olds. I was super impressed!”
