Community Health Advocate
Gaby was born and raised in Truckee. She worked as a medical assistant for many years serving North Lake Tahoe and Truckee communities. In 2019 she decided to pursue a degree in public health to increase her knowledge on how to promote and protect the health of people and the community. She received her bachelor’s in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health Education in 2022 from Sacramento State. She served as a perinatal care coordinator in Sacramento and has now returned to the community she grew up in to assist patients in accessing care and community resources so that they can achieve their highest level of health.
