Tahoe Forest Hospital
Proudly serving the community since 1952, Tahoe Forest Hospital is a not for profit rural health care facility and designated Critical Access Hospital. It is fully accredited by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program and licensed by the State of California Department of Health Services. Tahoe Forest Hospital has 25 acute care beds and 37 long-term care beds.
Our geographic area covers six rural counties, two states and approximately 3,500 square miles with primary services reaching the communities of Truckee, North Lake Tahoe, Donner Summit and the Sierra Valley in California and Incline Village in Nevada. Tahoe Forest Hospital serves a full-time population of approximately 40,000 residents with influxes of up to an additional 30,000 tourists during peak periods.

Tahoe Forest Hospital is located at 10121 Pine Avenue, just off of the 10000 block Donner Pass Road in the heart of Truckee, California and is about two hours east of Sacramento, California. East of Truckee is Reno, Nevada, about a 45-minute drive.
If you're coming from Sacramento or other parts west of Truckee, take the Central Truckee exit # 185 (the 2nd of 4 Truckee exits). When you come off the freeway, exit left on HYW 89 via the roundabout go through the roundabout and under the freeway. Make a right onto Donner Pass Road and then right onto Pine Avenue. There is parking on the north side of the building by the 24 hour emergency room entrance.
