At Tahoe Forest Hospital District, we understand how confusing finding physician and Insurance Provider information can be.
This physician directory is a listing of all physicians who have privileges at our Tahoe Forest Hospital District facilities. We have a wonderful group of both primary care and specialty physicians who serve our community in many different ways.
Although finding a primary care or specialty physician can sometimes be challenging, here is some information that you may find helpful in your search:
- If you are seeking a primary care or specialty physician, you will need to know if your medical insurance provider has a specific list of physicians, medical groups, or hospitals from which you should choose. Many insurance plans work with a specific panel of physicians, and many times with a specific hospital. Please consult your insurance plan or contact physicians directly.
- Please realize that not all of the physicians who work with a specific insurance plan will be accepting new patients.
If you do not have insurance, please contact one of our Financial Counselors to discuss payment options or possible eligibility for government medical assistance programs.
