The Medical and Allied Health Professional staff consists of 175 practitioners in primary care and other highly specialized fields of practice. As a team, we are committed to providing the highest quality of patient care at Tahoe Forest Hospital and Incline Village Community Hospital as well as the other affiliated services and programs. What is Medical Staff Services?
Medical Staff Services is responsible for the administrative and medical-legal aspects of the Medical Staff organization. Among some of the most important responsibilities of the department include:
- Providing for the development, establishment and enforcement of Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and policies and procedures.
- Ensuring quality patient care through the credentialing and biennial recredentialing of the Medical and Allied Health Professional Staff.
- Management of the Medical Staff meeting structure including the Departments of Anesthesia, OB/Peds, Medicine, Surgery and Medicine and the Medical Executive Committee.
- Maintaining physician information data bases.
